headcheck

Your AI doesn't know what kind of day you're having.

headcheck tells it. Sleep, heart rate, reaction time, fed quietly to whichever AI you use, so its advice fits the day, not the average.

Works with any MCP-aware assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and others).

The wedge

Same question, different answer.

Without headcheck

"Should I push through this deck or call it for the day?"

It depends on your priorities. If the deck is critical and you have energy, push through. If you're tired, rest. Try the Pomodoro technique: 25 minutes focused work, 5 minute break.

With headcheck

"Should I push through this deck or call it for the day?"

You slept 5h 40 last night and your reaction time is below your usual. Pushing through hard creative work tonight is unlikely to land well. Either narrow the deck to the two slides that matter and finish those, or sleep on it and have a fresh-eyes pass tomorrow morning.

How it works

Three quiet pieces.

  1. 01

    Companion app

Quietly forwards your sleep and heart-rate from your phone's health store.

  2. 02

    headcheck

Holds that context behind a key only you have.

  3. 03

    Your AI

Reads it through MCP, so answers fit your state, not the average user's.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which AI assistants does this work with?
Any AI that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol). Today that includes Claude, ChatGPT (via mcp-remote), Cursor, and Goose, with more arriving every month.
What data does headcheck see?
Sleep duration and timing, resting heart rate, and your reaction-time score. Nothing else from your phone. The companion app is a quiet conduit, not a dashboard.
Is this another health tracker?
No. Whoop and Oura already exist, and they are great at it. Headcheck does one job: hand the data you already have to your AI assistant so its advice fits your state, not the average user.
Where does my data live?
On Cloudflare in New Zealand-friendly regions, behind a key only you have. No third-party sharing. No model training on your data.
When does it ship?
Companion app for Android is in build. Waitlist gets early access ahead of public launch. iOS follows.
Who is behind it?
Built quietly by the team at omit.nz, an Auckland-based product studio.
